Please note: Students applying for IF Architecture will need to submit a portfolio of artwork for assessment by the Art & Design team. Portfolio can be supplied either on CD or by e-mail.

  • If the student has been studying in the UK, we will need a letter from the institution to confirm their registration and attendance. We would then need to justify whether the International Foundation (NQF Level 3) that they want to do with us shows academic progression from the course that they have been attending in the UK.
  • For students who take IGCSEsThe usual entry requirements for the International Foundation Programme are pitched at a level equivalent to AS-Level (because a Foundation Programme is designed to bridge the gap between qualifications that are not quite equivalent to A-Levels and university entry requirements). However, we may consider students who have taken IGCSE if they have achieved very high grades in Maths and other relevant subjects – i.e. A or B only.
  • For students who take AS-level (both in Morocco or in the UK), the College will consider based on their individual merit. Students are required to submit:
  • All AS results (if they have failed their AS, we reserve the right to not make an offer)
  • Academic reports from the institution where they have attended, including attendance record
  • Any academic transcript that they obtained before starting the AS course
  • Proof of English Language level (they would still need to meet the entry requirement detailed above for IF)
  • A personal statement explaining why they would like to switch from A-Levels to theInternational Foundation Programme
  • Copies of visas for the country where they have been studying A-Levels (if outside Morocco)

For students who take full 2 years A-levels
We will not accept students who have completed A-Levels (2 years) or equivalent NQF Level 3 qualification in the UK because it does not demonstrate the academic progression which is necessary for a CAS to be issued.
We will consider students who have completed A-Levels (2 years) or an equivalent qualification outside the UK. Students will need to provide:

  • All A-Levels results (if they have failed their A-Levels, we will not make an offer)
  • Academic reports from the institution where they have attended, including attendancerecord
  • Any academic transcript that they obtained before starting the A-Levels
  • Proof of English Language level (they would still need to meet the entry requirementdetailed above for IF)
  • A personal statement explaining why they would like to switch from A-Levels to theInternational Foundation programme
  • Copies of visas for the country where they have been studying A-Levels (if outside Morocco)

NB: All these students must be advised that British university admission tutors often do not look favorably at students who switch from A-Levels to International Foundation, which means that their choice of universities might be limited. The College does not accept responsibility for any students who are accepted not gaining a place at their preferred university.

English as a Foreign Language (EFL)

  • If students only want to come to do a short English Language course with us, they can apply under the Short Term Student Visa Route and start at any point in the year at any level, for as many weeks as they choose from 6 weeks to 11 calendar months.
  • If they wish to study English Language course under Tier 4 Student Visa, for example, if they need to study an EFL course with us in preparation for their degree course in September, then they should have already applied for their degree and send their conditional offer letter from the university to the College. We will then suggest how long they need to study with us.Suggestions/guidelines: International students normally need 12 weeks of full-time English Language course in order to improve their IELTS score by 0.5 point. So if they need an IELTS 6.0 for their degree in September, they should have an IELTS of 5.0 – 5.5 in January for the English Language at the College.
