The most important consideration is that you are able to study successfully. Applications to join the MBA Programme often come from a range of backgrounds and disciplines including science, technology and other non-business related fields.
In general, applicants will meet the following broad criteria.
Academic Qualifications
- An Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years appropriate full time work experience.
- An Undergraduate Honors degree and at least 2 years appropriate full time work experience.
If you do not hold the required level of academic qualification, you may be considered if you have maturity and evidence of substantial appropriate work experience (five years plus).

International Gained Qualification
If your qualification was gained outside the UK, we will support applications by comparing the equivalent standards between the UK Higher Education system and the institution from which your degree or equivalent was obtained.
English Language Requirement
All modules and programmes are provided and taught in English. It is therefore essential, if English is not your first language, that you have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (with no element below 5.5), or that your previous degree studies were in English. Contact us for advice and further guidance.
References
A work reference is a requirement for all programme applicants. Academic references are acceptable always in addition (or accompanied with) to a work reference.
Please Note
Applicants who may not be qualified may still be considered on the following grounds:
- A conditional offer may be made based on proof of relevant work experience.
- A deferred offer may be made to give the candidates the opportunity to make up the relevant work experience, and then join the programme at a later date.
